The Residents

The Residents are amazing, it is incredible the creativity or the strangeness they wanted to present to the public. I really liked the music it was very different to the conventional stuff we are used to hear. In fact I can say that I have never heard music like this. Also the way they picked their name was completely unique, and the uniqueness is what makes them more and more interesting. How they never reveal their identities makes them powerful, anonymity is what attracts everyone about them. I was so amazed that I actually listen The Residents now.

Stelarc-Cyborg

Stelarc was very interesting in every way, we must view Stelarc as a futuristic cyborg, he is actually exploring how the body can extent by implementing cyborg extremities. It is amazing how probably in a near future we are going to be able to do this like a normal way of living. Specially for people with handicaps can use these innovations for them to have a normal life. Also Stelarc explores the extremes of the body, by the suspensions with hooks. It is clear that our body is totally amazing and its capable of amazing things.

Andy Warhol and Pop Art

Pop art was a very interesting subject with a very peculiar character such as Andy Warhol, I was amazed how the objects became art, and how the repetition was an element that composed pop art.

Andy Warhol rocks, he was a mysterious guy who kept everybody interested with his attitude, it was hilarious how in his interviews he answered with just one word. I think he was hated by many people, but for so much hate you want him to like you. The factory was a very unique and exclusive group were the media was the main spectator. This movement is one of the most interesting I have seen in this class.
